Jazz Master Class

Rachel is a professional dancer, singer, actor, model, choreographer, and adjudicator currently residing in New York City. She grew up training in all forms of dance on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and attended countless regional and national conventions and competitions, as well as summer intensives at The Gold School and winter intensives at Broadway Dance Center in NYC. Rachel went on to major in dance and graduate Magna Cum Laude from Elon University in North Carolina with a BFA in Dance Performance & Choreography and Minor in Business Administration. She has since performed around the country and the world on the National and International Tours of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, directed and choreographed by the incredible, Tony Award-Winnning choreographer, Andy Blankenbuehler (Hamilton). She has performed at sea in the role of Cha Cha in Grease for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, and served as Dance Captain for Holland America Line’s World Cruise. She performed on the National Tour of Super WHY Live!, the International Tour of The Aluminum Show in Brazil and Spain, and has done countless regional productions including: West Side Story (North Shore Music Theatre- Original Robbins Choreo), Mary Poppins (Arkansas Rep & NBFT), 42nd Street (Mill Mountain Theatre & Interlakes Theatre), Singin’ in the Rain (New Bedford Festival Theatre), All Shook Up (Palace Theatre), Madagascar (NSMT), Hello Dolly (Interlakes Theatre), Swing! (MMT), and more. She has also danced at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and for Spirit Productions. Most recently, Rachel performed in Utah at the beautiful Tuacahn Amphitheatre, where she was part of only the 3rd production in the world of Dreamwork’s Prince of Egypt stage adaptation, choreographed by SYTYCD’s Sean Cheesman and overseen by composer Stephen Schwartz. There, she also performed in the regional premiers of Matilda and R&H’s Cinderella’s most recently revived Broadway version. Rachel teaches master classes and sets choreography across the country, and loves sharing her passion for dance and performing with others. Her choreography has been seen across the country at competitions and collegiate conferences and has won numerous awards recognizing creativity and innovation. She is thrilled to be on the roster of dance competition judges with Impact Dance Adjudicators and is excited to see all of the talented dancers across the country do what they love on stage this year!
